Ever wonder what Davian might have been like when he was just a runt in RSO training or imagine how he might handle LAF’s like Salla when he had no rank? Next month, The Elysian Chronicles Radio Program will air on the internet at www.adastraradio.com. The weekly program will take place 200 years before A Prophecy Forgotten, starting with the day Davian is called off Earth and sent to RSO training. (See A Prophecy Forgotten’s Chapter 11 for details.) This means you can get your Davian-fix weekly while you are waiting for Out of the Shadows to be released. The Final Cut in Movies: Putting Science Fiction & Fantasy Movies Center Stage
I’m now an official radio talk show host with a new program, The Final Cut in Movies (www.finalcutinmovies.com), a talk show about science fiction and fantasy movies that airs on Fridays from 8:00 to 9:00pm on www.adastraradio.com. This week’s show is the “Blue Harvest” edition, in which we will be comparing the original Star Wars with the new Star Wars. Be sure to check it out, and if you like the genre, check out The Final Cut site daily for up-to-date movie information.

Out of the Shadows Publication Time Table

Author M.B.Weston Leads “Young Writers” Club on March 22nd
Held at Barnes & Noble in Naples

(February 28, 2008 – Naples, FL) On Saturday, March 22, 2008 from 10:00 AM – Noon Naples-based author M. B. Weston will lead the next meeting of the Young Writers of Naples Club, a teenage chapter of the Florida Writers Association.

The Young Writers of Naples seeks to introduce and prepare high school students for the world of professional writing. They meet the 3rd Saturday of every month. All events are FREE and scheduled at Barnes & Noble in Naples, located at 5377 Tamiami Trail North in Naples.

M. B. Weston is not only an award-winning writer, but also a very talented and motivating speaker. She has been scheduled as a guest speaker at many schools and events throughout Florida. “I have a great desire to share what I’ve learned especially with young people who also have a passion for writing. Through these workshops I’m able to give some guidance to our next generation of writers,” says Weston. She currently speaks to middle school and high school students about writing and getting published, and leads the Young Writer’s of Naples – a chapter of the Florida Writers’ Association for teenage authors.

A Prophecy Forgotten is the first in the Elysian Chronicles trilogy. It’s a Tolkien-meets-Clancy fantasy novel about guardian angel warfare and treason that embodies the themes of faith, hope and living according to your purpose through this fantasy fiction story. Friday, February 29th: 3:15-5:00: Radio interviews on Praise FM 89.5. M. B. Weston will be possibly recording an interview with Suzy Sky (to be played later), and will be on the air with Arnie Coones around 4:30, discussing her new radio show, The Final Cut, as well as her book signing on Saturday.

It’s time for a little guessing game. If you haven’t read the prologue and first two chapters of Out of the Shadows, read them so you can guess the answer to the following question:

I’ve reached preliminary agreements with the science fiction Internet radio station, Ad Astra Radio to begin broadcasting an Elysian Chronicles radio program that will tell the story of Davian’s life just after he graduated from RSO Training (about 200 years before the beginning of A Prophecy Forgotten). Possible Radio Show(s) with Ad Astra Radio In the Works

M. B. Weston as announced on her blog, To Elysia and Back Again, that she and Ad Astra Radio, an on-line science fiction radio station, are currently discussing the possibility of Weston doing a fantasy-themed radio program and a movie-critique program.

"I’m pretty much on board with Ad Astra," says Weston, who has already signed an Ad Astra banner to be auctioned off at MegaCon this March. "It’s just a matter of ironing out the details before we make a formal announcement." Weston hopes to finalize the details of the programs within the week.
